Indevin’s leadership group is ably supported by the Board of Directors, providing a discrete governance role and assisting in driving the strategic development and success of the group.
Marlborough born and bred, Duncan swapped a decade in aquaculture for dry land and grapes back in 2002. Founding Indevin in 2003, Duncan is a true entrepreneurial thought leader, and a sought after speaker on business innovation.
After a decade in international marketing and management, Phill launched Indevin’s export business in 2007. Establishing Indevin’s relationships with some of the world’s leading wine retailers, Phill is at the heart of our commercial team.
A loyal Cantabrian, Steve began his career with Lion Nathan before extensive experience in senior financial roles internationally with Group Danone and Zuellig Pharma in markets spanning Asia Pacific, Middle East, Central Europe, Southern Africa.
Steve joined Indevin in early 2018 and leads our Finance and Information Technology teams.
Group Operations Manager
Born and raised in rural Southland, Deane spent eighteen years in the aquaculture industry before joining Indevin in 2008. A graduate in Business Management and an Icehouse alumni, Deane’s driven by keeping Indevin’s people, processes and technology world-class.
After a decade in marine ecology Heath switched careers through a Masters degree in Science. After completing vintages around the world Heath settled in New Zealand and began working for Indevin in 2011 becoming Group Winemaker in 2015. Heath is the company’s technical lead focusing on quality and customer services.

Australia Market Manager
Australian born, Olimpia grew up making wine in the back garden with her grandfathers.
After completing a Bachelor of Management with a Marketing Major & specialised focus in International Wine studies, she has worked in the Wine and Spirit industry ever since.
Following her passion has led her career to Tuscany, London and back home to Australia.
She joined Indevin in mid 2018 and knew immediately that she had found her ideal work culture, allowing her to work with vibrant, progressive, likeminded people.
UK and Europe Sales Manager
Since joining the Thresher Group in 1994 where he ran a number of specialist wine shops "Jonno Butt" has enjoyed a long and varied career within the wine trade.
After a hands on experience at several New Zealand wineries he returned to the UK and became Head of Global Wine Sourcing at First Quench retail.
Phill and Jonno first met in 2005 when Jonno became a large client of Phill’s. The boys very quickly developed a great working relationship and shared a similar set of values and an approach to business so, as Indevin’s export business grew, it became obvious that Jonno would get involve and he joined the business in 2009 ... the rest is history” #thisisindevin
